Hayley Chesnik

Community Impact Department at United Way of Dane County

Currently serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Collaborations in the Community Impact Department at United Way of Dane County. In this role, Hayley oversees the strategic vision and management of United Way’s grant innovation portfolio. She is responsible for leading a team that helps build the capacity and accelerate the impact of community-based programs through program development and design, grant proposal writing, public policy advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation efforts. Hayley has along standing background in writing, research, and development. Before joining United Way of Dane County in 2015, Hayley supported several nonprofit organizations in New York and worked in the public education system in SouthernSpain. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish and certificates in Global Cultures and Women’s Studies from UW-Madison. She also earned her Master of Science in Global Affairs with a concentration in international law and human rights from New York University’s Center for GlobalAffairs.
